Additional Product Information
N-Cadherin, or Cadherin-2, is a classical cadherin and member of the cadherin superfamily. N-Cadherin is a calcium-dependent cell adhesion molecule that plays a role in the establishment of left-right asymmetry, development of the nervous system and the formation of cartilage and bone. [taken from NCBI Entrez Gene (Gene ID: 1000)].
Alternate Names
cadherin 2, type 1, N-cadherin (neuronal); cadherin-2; calcium-dependent adhesion protein, neuronal; CD antigen CD325; CD325; CDHN; CDw325; NCAD; N-cadherin; N-cadherin 1; neural cadherin
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
