Rabbit anti-Phospho XRCC1 (S518/T519/T523) IHC Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by IHC-00115 maps to a region surrounding residues Ser 518, Thr 519 and Thr 523 of human X-ray Repair Complementing protein 1 using the numbering given in SwissProt enty P18887 (GeneID 7515). Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to Phospho XRCC1 (S518/T519/T523) immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by IHC-00115-T maps to a region surrounding residues Ser 518, Thr 519 and Thr 523 of human X-ray Repair Complementing protein 1 using the numbering given in SwissProt enty P18887 (GeneID 7515).
Additional Product Information
X-ray repair cross-complementing protein 1 (XRCC1) has been identified as a gene that partially rescues a DNA repair defect and therefore plays a role in efficient repair of single-stranded breaks in DNA damage caused by ionizing radiation. XRCC1 interacts with human polynucleotide kinase, DNA polymerase-beta, and DNA ligase III in a multiprotein complex to execute the function of DNA repair.
Alternate Names
DNA repair protein XRCC1; RCC; SCAR26; X-ray repair complementing defective repair in Chinese hamster cells 1; X-ray repair cross-complementing protein 1
Applications
Epitope exposure is recommended.
Epitope exposure with citrate buffer will enhance staining.
Likely to work with frozen sections.
In some cases, the antibody may be diluted further than indicated.
