Production Procedures
Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to PolD3/p66 immobilized on solid support.

The epitope recognized by IHC-00249 maps to a region between residue 325 and 375 of human DNA polymerase delta, subunit 3 using the numbering given in entry NP_006582.1 (GeneID 10714).

Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4.

Additional Product Information

PolD3/p66 is a subunit of the heterotetrameric DNA polymerase delta that plays a role in DNA replication and repair. The PolD3/p66 subunit has been shown to mediate the interaction between DNA polymerase delta and PCNA (proliferating cell nuclear antigen) to facilitate processivity.

POLD3
DNA polymerase delta 3, accessory subunit
Q15054
DNA polymerase delta subunit 3

Alternate Names

DNA polymerase delta subunit 3; DNA polymerase delta subunit C; DNA polymerase delta subunit p66; DNA polymerase delta subunit p68; P66; P68; Pol delta C subunit (p66); polymerase (DNA) delta 3, accessory subunit; polymerase (DNA-directed), delta 3, accessory subunit; PPP1R128; protein phosphatase 1, regulatory subunit 128

Applications

Epitope exposure is recommended.

Epitope exposure with citrate buffer will enhance staining.

Likely to work with frozen sections.

In some cases, the antibody may be diluted further than indicated.
