Product Description
RbBP4 is a member of the WD-repeat subfamily of proteins and is a component of multiple complexes involved in chromatin assembly, histone deacetylation, and transcriptional repression. RbBP4 has also been identified as a retinoblastoma (Rb) binding protein and plays a role in the repression of E2F-regulated genes in association with Rb and histone deacetylases.

Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to RbBP4 immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by IHC-00242 maps to a region between residue 1 and 50 of human retinoblastoma binding protein 4 (retinoblastoma-binding protein p48) using the numbering given in entry CAA52321.1 (GeneID 5928).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4.
