60S ribosomal protein L11 (RPL11) binds to 5S ribosomal RNA (by similarity). RPL11 is required for rRNA maturation and formation of the 60S ribosomal subunits. RPL11 promotes nucleolar location of PML [taken from the Universal Protein Resource (UniProt) www.uniprot.org/uniprot/P62913].

Production & Epitope
Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to RPL11 immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A303-931A maps to a region between residue 128 and 178 of human Ribosomal Protein L11 using the numbering given in entry NP_000966.2 (GeneID 6135).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4.
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (A120-101P).
