The RPL35A gene encodes for 60S ribosomal protein L35a. The protein belongs to the L35AE family of ribosomal proteins. The rat protein has been shown to bind to both initiator and elongator tRNAs, and thus, it is located at the P site, or P and A sites, of the ribosome [taken from NCBI Entrez Gene (Gene ID: 6165)].

Production & Epitope
Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to RPL35A/Ribosomal Protein L35a immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A305-106A maps to a region between residue 60 to 110 of human 60S ribosomal protein L35a using the numbering given in entry P18077.2 (GeneID 6165).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4.
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (A120-101P).
