Production Procedures
Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to SPINDLY/CCDC99 immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A301-355A-T maps to a region between residue 525 and 575 of human SPINDLY (coiled-coil domain containing 99) using the numbering given in entry NP_060255.2 (GeneID 54908).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4.

Additional Product Information
Spindly has recently been identified as the human homolog of Drosophila spindly. Spindly has been shown to regulate mitotic dynein and is essential for the docking and recruitment of dynein to the kinetochore.
