Transmembrane protein 33 (TMEM33) acts as a regulator of the tubular endoplasmic reticulum (ER) network. It suppresses the RTN3/4-induced formation of the ER tubules (PubMed:25612671). TMEM33 positively regulates PERK-mediated and IRE1-mediated unfolded protein response signaling (PubMed:26268696) [taken from the Universal Protein Resource (UniProt) www.uniprot.org/uniprot/P57088].

Applications

All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.

Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
