Product Description
TORC3 (transducer of regulated cAMP response element-binding protein 3) is a transcriptional coactivator for CREB1 which activates transcription through cAMP response element (CRE) sites. TORC3 acts as a coactivator in the SIK/TORC signaling pathway. TORC3 has also been shown to be a coactivator for TAX activation of the human T-cell leukemia virus type 1 (HTLV-1) long terminal repeats (LTR).

Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to TORC3 immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by IHC-00684 maps to a region between residue 569 and 619 of human transducer of regulated CREB protein 3 using the numbering given in entry NP_073606.3 (GeneID 64784).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4.
Applications
Epitope exposure is recommended.
Epitope exposure with citrate buffer or Tris-EDTA pH9.0 will enhance staining.
Likely to work with frozen sections.
