Product Description
Ubiquitin (Ub) is a highly conserved protein found ubiquitously in eukaryotic organisms. The conjugation of ubiquitin to proteins is an important means to regulate protein activity for many cellular processes by tagging them for degradation. Removal of Ub can rescue proteins from degradation. This is accomplished by the ubiquitin-specific processing protease (UBP) family of enzymes. Ubiquitin specific processing protease 10 (USP10) is a member of this family that has been found to interact with Ras-GTPase activating protein (G3BP).

Production & Epitope
Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to USP10 immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A300-900A maps to a region between residue 50 and 100 of human Ubiquitin Specific Peptidase 10 using the numbering given in entry NP_005144.1 (GeneID 9100).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4.
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (A120-101P).
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using an anti-Rabbit IgG Light Chain HRP-conjugated antibody with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
Immunohistochemistry (IHC)1:100 to 1:500. Epitope retrieval with citrate buffer pH6.0 is recommended for FFPE tissue sections.
