Product Description

WDR20 (WD repeat-containing protein 20) contains five WD repeats and is a member of the WD family of proteins. The WD repeat is defined by four or more repeating units of a conserved core of approximately 40 amino acids ending with tryptophan-aspartic acid (WD). WD repeats may serve as sites of protein-protein interaction for adaptor proteins and facilitate multiprotein complex formation. WD proteins are involved in a variety of cellular processes. The function of WDR20 has not been characterized.

Production & Epitope

Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to WDR20 immobilized on solid support.

The epitope recognized by IHC-00603 maps to a region between residue 450 and 500 of human WD repeat domain 20 using the numbering given in entry AAH28387.1 (GeneID 91833).

Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4.

Applications

Epitope exposure is recommended.

Epitope exposure with citrate buffer will enhance staining.

Likely to work with frozen sections.

In some cases, the antibody may be diluted further than indicated.

Immunohistochemistry (IHC)1:100 - 1:500
