Rabbit anti-WTAP Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A301-435A-T maps to a region between residue 250 and 300 of human Wilms tumor 1 associated protein using the numbering given in entry NP_004897.2 (GeneID 9589).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to WTAP immobilized on solid support.

Additional Product Information
Wilms’ tumor 1 associated protein (WTAP) is a protein found to associate with the Wilms’ tumor suppressor (WT1). WTAP appears to play a role in cell proliferation and regulation of the G2/M transition. WTAP has been suggested to influence these processes via a function in mRNA stabilization and mRNA splicing.
Alternate Names
female-lethal(2)D homolog; hFL(2)D; Mum2; PNAS-132; pre-mRNA-splicing regulator WTAP; putative pre-mRNA splicing regulator female-lethal(2D); Wilms tumor 1 associated protein; wilms tumor 1-associating protein; Wilms' tumour 1-associating protein; WT1-associated protein
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
