Recombinant antibody was purified from cell culture supernatant.
Immunogen was a peptide representing a region between residue 300 and 350 of human YTH domain-containing family protein 2 using the numbering given in entry NP_057342.2 (Gene ID 51441).
YTHDF2 is a member of the YTH-domain containing (YT521-B homology) superfamily which also contains YTHDF1 and YTHDF3. These proteins share a conserved C-terminal YTH domain that specifically interacts with N6-methyladenosine (m6A) modified RNA. The m6A modification is present at internal sites of mRNAs and some non-coding RNAs and plays an important role in mRNA splicing, processing, and stability.
