Product Description

CA150 has been identified as a transcriptional cofactor that functions as a corepressor of Tat-activated and C/EBP-activated gene transcription. CA150 also has been shown to interact with RNA polymerase II and the splicing factor SF1 to function in transcription elongation and pre-mRNA splicing.

Production & Epitope

Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to CA150 immobilized on solid support.

The epitope recognized by IHC-00021 maps to a region between residue 15 and 50 of human Transcription Factor CA150 (Transcription Elongation Regulator 1) using the numbering given in entry NP_006697.2 (GeneID 10915).

Applications

Epitope exposure is recommended.

Epitope exposure with citrate buffer will enhance staining.

Likely to work with frozen sections.

In some cases, the antibody may be diluted further than indicated.

Immunohistochemistry (IHC)1:100 - 1:500
