Production Procedures
Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to ANKIB1 immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A301-367A-T maps to a region between residue 925 and 975 of human ankyrin repeat and IBR domain-containing protein 1 using the numbering given in entry NP_061877.1 (GeneID 54467).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4.

Additional Product Information
The function of Ankyrin repeat and IBR domain-containing protein 1 (ANKIB1) has not been characterized. Structurally, ANKIB1 contains two ankyrin repeats, one IBR-type zinc finger, two RING-type zinc fingers, and an ubiquitin-interacting motif (UIM) repeat. The presence of a UIM suggests that ANKIB1 may have a function in the metabolism of ubiquitinated proteins.
