Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to AKAP12/Gravin immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A301-402A maps to a region between residue 1731 and 1781 of human A kinase (PRKA) anchor protein (gravin) 12 using the numbering given in entry AAC51366.1 (GeneID 9590).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4.
Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to AKAP12/Gravin immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A301-402A-T maps to a region between residue 1731 and 1781 of human A kinase (PRKA) anchor protein (gravin) 12 using the numbering given in entry AAC51366.1 (GeneID 9590).
AKAP12/Gravin is a tumor suppressor protein belonging to the A-kinase anchoring protein family. A-kinase anchoring proteins function as molecular scaffolds for the subcellular compartmentalization of A- kinase signaling molecules. In addition to its role in cell signaling, AKAP12/Gravin has also been identified as an autoantigen in some cases of myasthenia gravis and has recently been shown to play a role in leukemogenesis.
