Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to Caf1p150 immobilized on solid support.

The epitope recognized by A301-481A maps to a region between residue 100 and 150 of human chromatin assembly factor 1, subunit A (p150) using the numbering given in entry AAA76736.1 (GeneID 10036).

Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4.

Additional Product Information

Caf1p150 is one of three subunits that make up the chromatin assembly factor I (CAFI). The CAFI subunits include Caf1 (p150; CHAF1A), P50, and p60 (CHAF1B; MIM 601245). The CAFI complex plays an important role in histone octamer assembly during DNA replication. The p150 subunit has been shown to directly interact with histone H3 and H4 as well as the proliferating cell nuclear antigen (PCNA) and is critical to nucleosome assembly during DNA replication.

Applications

All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
