Production Procedures

Recombinant antibody was purified from cell culture supernatant.

Immunogen was a recombinant protein representing the extracellular domain of mouse CD80 (residues 37-245, NP_001346827.1).

Additional Product Information

CD80 is a membrane receptor involved in the costimulatory signal essential for T-lymphocyte activation. T-cell proliferation and cytokine production is induced by the binding of CD28, binding to CTLA-4 has opposite effects and inhibits T-cell activation. Applications

All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.

Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
