Troponin I is the inhibitory subunit of troponin, the thin filament regulatory complex which confers calcium-sensitivity to striated muscle actomyosin ATPase activity. The Troponin I subfamily contains three genes: Troponin I-skeletal-fast-twitch, Troponin I-skeletal-slow-twitch, and Troponin I-cardiac. All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.

Immunohistochemistry (IHC)1:100 to 1:500. Epitope retrieval with citrate buffer pH 6.0 is recommended for FFPE tissue sections.
